Achieving Growth

Ma’arom (Stack)  explores the instinctive act of stacking — a gesture that emerges naturally while working with clay.

Each vessel is composed of several individual ceramic forms, each capable of functioning independently. When separated, the components serve as everyday objects; when assembled, they form a larger sculptural composition.

The collection moves between use and storage, utility and display. Rather than treating storage as a hidden state, the project embraces it as part of the object’s identity. In moments of rest, the vessels stack into balanced arrangements that stand as complete objects in their own right.

By combining repeated cast elements into varying configurations, each composition develops its own character and rhythm. Familiar vessel forms are reassembled into structures that appear both functional and architectural, revealing new relationships between individual parts and the whole.
